Part-Time Dispensary Associate – Reading, Pennsylvania

Support cannabis patients and customers at Trulieve’s Reading, Pennsylvania dispensary. Educate shoppers, process regulated orders, and provide accurate, compassionate service.

Description

  • Explain cannabis product benefits and potential side effects to help customers make informed choices
  • Educate customers about cannabis products and their effects
  • Complete customer purchases in compliance with applicable state regulations
  • Deliver knowledgeable, empathetic, and compassionate customer service
  • Support managers and shift supervisors with policy-compliant returns
  • Prepare and process patient orders accurately and efficiently
  • Apply Trulieve policies and procedures consistently
  • Partner with the leader on duty and management to improve customer experiences and resolve concerns
  • Help customers troubleshoot product or device issues
  • Record customer concerns and issues in their profiles
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and adequately stocked
  • Handle other duties assigned by management
  • Perform delivery associate responsibilities as needed while following delivery procedures
  • Process online orders, including delivery orders, within two hours

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus experience in this or a comparable field
  • At least 18 years old in Pennsylvania, or 21 in most other locations
  • Retail or customer service experience is preferred
  • Previous cash-handling experience is required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and as part of a team
  • Professional interpersonal skills, business judgment, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Respectful, courteous interactions with customers and colleagues
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to use computers, laptops, electronic equipment, and telecommunications devices
  • Physical and mental capacity to perform the role’s duties
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery responsibilities
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to remain mobile throughout the workday and push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours work as business needs require
