Associate Community Manager - Tri-Cities, WA (Hybrid)

Manage homeowner association communities across Washington’s Tri-Cities area, serving homeowners, boards, developers, and vendors. Oversee inspections, projects, budgets, compliance, vendor coordination, and association meetings.

Description

  • Serve as the primary homeowner contact, providing clear and timely updates through issue resolution
  • Liaise with boards of directors, communicate decisions, implement policies and resolutions, and support board recruitment and training
  • Develop productive relationships with local developers and builders to support communication, issue resolution, and community transitions
  • Perform scheduled drive-through compliance inspections, record violations, and coordinate notices and follow-up under each association’s governing documents
  • Obtain bids, engage vendors, and oversee the RFP process for association repairs and projects
  • Support the preparation and ongoing monitoring of annual association budgets
  • Coordinate the architectural and design review and approval process
  • Organize and attend board and annual meetings, including occasional evening and weekend sessions
  • Oversee a portfolio of 11 associations representing approximately 1,200 doors

Requirements

  • At least one year of HOA, community association, or residential property management experience, or at least two years in a fast-paced, customer-facing role handling multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deadlines across multiple associations simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and board presentations
  • Customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Residence in or near Kennewick, Pasco, or Richland, Washington
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Dependable high-speed internet and an appropriate home workspace
  • Availability to attend occasional evening and weekend meetings
