Remote Revenue Cycle Manager (Pennsylvania)

Lead billing, collections, compliance, and financial performance for Resources for Human Development, a human services nonprofit. Oversee fiscal operations remotely and drive improvements to revenue cycle processes.

Tavsif

  • Direct revenue cycle operations across the organization.
  • Manage daily fiscal services and supervise related processes and staff.
  • Ensure services are collected accurately and on time.
  • Develop initiatives to strengthen revenue cycle performance.
  • Improve the efficiency of billing and collections.
  • Create and maintain effective billing and collection procedures.
  • Submit claims accurately and on schedule.
  • Reduce claim denials and reimbursement delays.
  • Analyze billing and collection patterns and recommend corrective action.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable.
  • Maintain aging reports and coordinate follow-up on overdue balances.
  • Investigate outstanding receivables and coordinate collection efforts.
  • Escalate significant aging concerns to leadership.
  • Track revenue cycle key performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Design strategies to improve results.
  • Monitor financial outcomes and recommend operational changes.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Review workflows and identify ways to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal fiscal regulations.
  • Assist with annual audits and fulfill auditor requests.
  • Maintain compliance with government reporting requirements.
  • Monitor accounting and financial management standards.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with fiscal staff, operations teams, and leadership.
  • Work across teams to improve workflows and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain working relationships with payers and insurance providers.
  • Resolve billing, reimbursement, and contract issues.
  • Advise management teams on financial matters.
  • Develop and maintain revenue cycle procedures and documentation.
  • Create training materials and operational tools.
  • Support staff training and development.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems.
  • Ensure records and supporting documentation are properly maintained.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management principles.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience with billing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with financial systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current vehicle registration.
  • Access to a working vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Five to seven years of nonprofit organization experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of human services financing and budgeting requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of tax and federal reporting requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting protocols preferred.
  • Experience preparing and negotiating contracts preferred.
  • Experience leading revenue cycle or financial operations teams preferred.
  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
