Lead full-cycle recruiting for Etsy’s Product Design, Product Management, and UX Research teams. Build inclusive talent pipelines and advise leaders on hiring strategy across a global creative marketplace.
Tavsif
- Recruit for Etsy’s Product Design, Product Management, and UX Research teams.
- Work with hiring managers and leaders to set role requirements, hiring strategies, interview plans, and timelines.
- Manage recruiting from intake through offer close.
- Find passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, portfolio and community platforms, product and design communities, events, and referrals.
- Map talent and research competitors, compensation trends, and emerging skills.
- Evaluate candidates through portfolios, case studies, product sense, and research methods.
- Guide interviewers in applying consistent evaluation criteria.
- Develop future talent pipelines through ongoing relationships and community engagement.
- Promote inclusive hiring with diverse candidate slates, structured interviews, and bias-aware evaluation.
- Track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and time to fill to report progress and improve processes.
- Mentor recruiters and help shape recruiting programs, processes, and team practices.
- Report to the Manager of Recruiting.
Talablar
- Extensive recruiting experience across Design, Product Management, or UX Research, including senior and leadership positions.
- A consultative, trusted-advisor style and ability to influence senior stakeholders with data.
- Resourceful, persistent sourcing skills and a record of building pipelines of passive candidates.
- Strong familiarity with evaluating portfolios, product case studies, and research presentations.
- Excellent offer-closing skills and an empathetic, professional candidate experience.
- Able to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and manage multiple open roles in a busy portfolio.
- Uses metrics and market insights to guide decisions.
- Committed to inclusive hiring and interested in Etsy’s mission and marketplace.
- Can commute to the Brooklyn or New York City area, or travel to the office occasionally if working remotely.
