Descriere
- Discuss installation plans and procedures with customers before new machines ship
- Supervise machine assembly at customer sites
- Inspect, adjust, and commission newly installed machines
- Advise customers on steps needed to meet equipment specifications
- Demonstrate safe machine setup, operation, and maintenance
- Diagnose issues and provide warranty and non-warranty maintenance, repairs, and training
- Recommend parts, accessories, and labor to keep equipment safe and operating efficiently
- Visit assigned customers regularly to observe machine performance and identify service needs
- Submit accurate service, inspection, time, and expense reports on schedule
- Support distributors, customers, and field service engineers remotely by phone and email
Cerințe
- Technical school education or equivalent work experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining industrial automation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Organized, process-oriented approach to work and completion of travel and expense reports
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to travel to customer sites, the Indianapolis home office, and other locations as required
