Senior Databricks Forward Deployed Engineer
Lead Databricks cloud data, Lakehouse, and generative AI delivery for enterprise customers across Latin America. Own migrations, technical execution, adoption, and customer growth.
Descriere
- Build and launch production data pipelines, analytics platforms, and generative AI applications with Databricks, Spark, Python, PySpark, and cloud technologies.
- Lead technical delivery for strategic enterprise customer engagements.
- Turn business needs into technical solutions with executives, data leaders, and engineering teams.
- Move legacy platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop, and SQL Server to Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
- Help enterprise customers across healthcare, retail, financial services, and other sectors adopt generative AI, RAG, model fine-tuning, and MLflow or Mosaic AI.
- Find valuable technical use cases, grow Databricks adoption, and deliver measurable customer returns.
- Coach junior solution engineers, architects, and consultants.
- Improve RevStar’s internal code libraries, reusable accelerators, and delivery practices.
Cerințe
- At least five years of hands-on work in data engineering, machine learning, or solutions architecture.
- At least three years of in-depth Databricks experience, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Spark or PySpark, Databricks Workflows or Jobs, and Mosaic AI.
- Practical experience building and deploying RAG pipelines, fine-tuning large language models, using vector databases, and managing machine learning pipelines end to end.
- Strong cloud architecture skills; AWS is preferred, including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
- A demonstrated record of moving enterprise data warehouses or lakes from legacy platforms to Databricks.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional and/or Machine Learning Professional certification preferred.
- Experience leading technical delivery for Fortune 500 or other large enterprise customers.
- Healthcare, retail, or consumer goods experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to present technical architectures, build proofs of concept and demos, and manage stakeholders through the C-suite.
- Able to spot technical growth opportunities in existing accounts and advocate for solutions that expand the account.
