Customer Success Specialist II, GovDeals

Descriere

  • Act as a secondary contact for a portfolio of government and public-sector clients.
  • Process assets onsite and help clients use the GovDeals auction marketplace.
  • Encourage client platform use and performance through outreach and practical recommendations.
  • Work with Territory Sales Representatives on client acquisition, relationship building, and account retention.
  • Catalog assets, write detailed descriptions, and photograph items in varied settings and weather.
  • Review auction listings for quality, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Find inactive or underused accounts and carry out targeted re-engagement.
  • Present to prospective clients, explaining GovDeals’ transparency, efficiency, and revenue potential.
  • Represent GovDeals professionally with government entities and public-sector organizations.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Cerințe

  • An associate degree is preferred. Coursework or experience in business, public administration, sales, or customer service is a plus.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in field operations, customer service, or support is preferred.
  • Experience involving frequent travel, onsite customer work, field services, logistics, inspections, or similar hands-on duties is highly desirable.
  • Experience with government agencies or public-sector organizations is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field with limited supervision.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with account managers, sales teams, and internal partners.
  • Comfort using web platforms, digital cameras or mobile devices, and standard business software.
  • Ability to manage travel schedules and competing priorities.
  • Ability to provide training, give professional presentations, and explain the platform’s value.
  • Careful attention to auction listings, asset descriptions, and images.
  • Self-motivation to manage remote work and stay productive with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to catalog assets, prepare descriptions, and photograph items indoors and outdoors in varied weather.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable high-speed internet and cellular service.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and perform similar physical tasks.
  • Access to a quiet, distraction-free home office.
  • Residence in Southern Michigan is preferred for coverage of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
