Chief Commercial Officer – Get Golfing

Lead revenue, sales, marketing and brand growth across Get Golfing, a charity using golf to improve lives. Set commercial strategy for a portfolio of golf venues and charitable initiatives.

  • Report to the CEO and lead commercial growth, revenue generation and brand development across Get Golfing CIO.
  • Grow existing and new income streams across golf, venues, retail, marketing, partnerships, digital channels and new sites.
  • Set and deliver a rolling three-to-five-year commercial strategy.
  • Find new revenue opportunities and shape innovative customer propositions.
  • Guide commercial planning across the venue estate.
  • Oversee golf revenue, including memberships, green fees, societies, corporate golf, golf days and events.
  • Manage pricing, yield, sales, customer acquisition, CRM, forecasting and membership growth.
  • Set and track commercial KPIs.
  • Lead sales for weddings, wakes, celebrations, conferences, corporate meetings, Christmas parties and other private events.
  • Set group retail strategy for golf retail, hire services, practice facilities, online sales, sourcing, merchandising and supplier relationships.
  • Build and safeguard the employer and consumer brands.
  • Oversee brand and marketing strategy, digital channels, communications, campaigns, content, customer insight and reputation.
  • Develop corporate, sponsorship, strategic, community, supplier and digital partnerships.
  • Oversee commercial suppliers and agencies, reviewing performance, KPIs and escalations.
  • Build revenue analytics, reporting, benchmarks and dashboards to optimise performance.
  • Set a group-wide customer experience strategy to improve satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy.
  • Lead commercial planning for venue acquisitions, mobilisation and integration.
  • Join the Executive Team and help shape organisational strategy.
  • Build strong commercial teams and coach General Managers.
  • Work closely with the COO, CFO and CPO.
  • Own commercial budgets and revenue targets, grow income, forecast and track KPIs.
  • Improve yield, margins and return on investment, and ensure marketing spend produces measurable results.
