Technical Business Systems Analyst - Cleveland Hybrid
Independence Pet Group is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst to convert business needs into technical specifications for pet health insurance systems. The role supports web applications, testing, validation, and business rules.

- Research business needs through interviews and analysis, then convert findings into specifications for technical projects.
- Provide internal technical support while overseeing web-based services and customer support operations.
- Validate requirements to confirm they address stakeholder needs.
- Work with end users and business stakeholders to document and communicate business requirements.
- Turn product vision into detailed specifications for the development team.
- Present user requirements, functional and technical specifications, and process flow diagrams to developers.
- Handle additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- At least three years of professional experience as a business analyst or in business support.
- Strong analytical ability with effective problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work with business rules, system configurations, and operational processes.
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn proprietary systems.
- Experience supporting web applications or business systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Exposure to claims or rating systems is preferred.
- Experience with business rules engines such as InRule is preferred.
- Background in customer service or operational support environments is preferred.
