Develop RAG system components with senior guidance while taking on greater autonomy
Create tests and contribute to evaluation harnesses
Develop production software across AI applications, backend services, and data pipelines
Connect AI capabilities with backend services and REST APIs
Help deploy containerized applications to AWS through CI/CD pipelines
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and materials for client handovers
Contribute to technical conversations and architecture decisions
Assist with model evaluation and analyze failure modes to improve system performance
Gradually assume ownership of components and technical decisions

Take initiative and work independently, seeking clarity instead of waiting for assigned tickets
Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively
Work productively through ambiguity with guidance from senior colleagues
Communicate at B2+ English level within distributed, multicultural teams
Have practical experience building or contributing to RAG systems, preferably in production or near-production settings
Use Python and/or TypeScript effectively
Have practical AWS experience with services such as Lambda, S3, or ECS
Have worked with containers and CI/CD on real projects
Have exposure to evaluating non-deterministic systems and conducting test or evaluation cycles
Understand the fundamentals of model and agent monitoring
Recognize cost and latency trade-offs in LLM-based applications
Have practical experience using LLM APIs such as Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI
Bring at least two years of software or ML engineering experience, including exposure to production systems
Have solid AI/ML fundamentals and understand common model failure modes
