Senior Software Engineer, C# and .NET
Build scalable, cloud-native .NET APIs for OPENLANE’s digital used-vehicle marketplace. Lead architecture, testing, and core platform development across North America.

- Continuously improve core products
- Guide technical discussions on software architecture and testing to uphold quality and performance
- Partner across teams to build and maintain high-value core components across technology stacks
- Develop scalable, cloud-native APIs with .NET
- Review code and maintain strong unit and functional test coverage
- Mentor colleagues and provide process and technical leadership
- Use application development, front-end JavaScript, telemetry, and performance-tuning expertise

- At least five years of experience building scalable, cloud-native APIs with .NET
- A university degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related field, preferably computer science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with telemetry and performance tuning using modern application performance monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of application development, including development and testing methods
- Experience with .NET Core
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Kubernetes on AWS
- Experience with OpenTelemetry
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks
- Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining high unit and functional test coverage
