Auto Liability Claims Representative
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve injury and property damage claims for Travelers. Manage claim caseloads, settlements, litigation, and customer communications in a hybrid role.

- Manage injury and property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
- Handle low to moderately complex personal and business liability claims.
- Investigate coverage, liability exposure, damages, and reserves.
- Communicate with customers, opposing counsel, vendors, internal stakeholders, and other parties.
- Negotiate settlements and issue timely, accurate payments within authorized limits.
- Manage low-complexity litigation.
- Keep claim activity records accurate in claim management systems.
- Adapt to technology implementations, system upgrades, and AI tool rollouts.
- Train and coach less experienced claim professionals.
- Complete other assigned duties.
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s degree, high school diploma, or GED.
- Two years of bodily injury claims experience.
- One year of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, or comparable claims experience, or successful completion of Travelers’ required Claim Representative training program.
- Active adjuster license where state law requires one.
- Obtain and maintain relevant insurance licenses within three months of starting.
- Experience using claims management systems.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and enterprise technology systems and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and terminology, state insurance regulations, claims handling requirements, and fair claims practices.
- Ability to understand and analyze policy language.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
