  • Set non-functional requirements for scalability, resilience, security, and performance
  • Partner with business, product, security, and engineering leaders
  • Present architecture recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • Lead multiple delivery teams across strategic programs

  • B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA in computer science, or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of total professional experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant Databricks experience
  • Track record architecting enterprise Data Lakehouse and Data Platform solutions with Databricks and Snowflake
  • Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture, including security, governance, scalability, and resilience
  • Extensive experience creating enterprise data strategies, modernization roadmaps, and migration plans
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, metadata management, and Data Mesh architectures
  • Experience designing multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud data ecosystems for analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI workloads
  • Proven leadership in architecture standards, governance models, and reference architecture development
  • Expertise in cost optimization, performance engineering, and cloud FinOps
  • Experience influencing executives and leading architecture reviews across multiple programs
  • Ability to mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic decision-making skills
  • Expert knowledge of Databricks Lakehouse Architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, and performance optimization
  • Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and distributed data processing
  • Extensive hands-on Snowflake experience, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Data Sharing, and query optimization
  • Strong Apache Iceberg expertise, including open table formats, schema evolution, partitioning, and time travel
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native data services
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills across OLTP and analytical environments
  • Experience with real-time processing technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and security frameworks
  • Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code experience is desirable
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized data platform knowledge is desirable
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools is desirable
  • Exposure to AI/ML, MLOps, and GenAI data platform integration is desirable
  • Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and modern enterprise data architectures is desirable
