Systems Engineer I, Flight Controls — Hybrid in Brno

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineer I to define and verify flight-control software requirements for ATR, CFBW, FBW, and UAM systems. The role works with international engineering teams in a hybrid Brno setting.

Description

  • Own system and software requirements, with emphasis on the software platform for ATR and CFBW systems supporting UAM applications.
  • Plan, perform, and evaluate tests that validate and verify system functions against established requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams in Czechia and other countries.
  • Apply the processes, standards, and licensing requirements relevant to assigned FBW programs.
  • Coordinate with Control Systems and Software engineering teams.
  • Complete project responsibilities on schedule and to the expected quality standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
  • Strong foundation in aerospace, electrical, computer engineering, or automation.
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering, including requirements definition, development, testing, and verification.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the initiative to work independently.
  • Dependable and trustworthy, with exceptionally high ethical and professional standards.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Applicants must hold EU or US citizenship because of export restrictions.
