Description

  • Act as the functional and strategic authority for SAP FI/S/4HANA.
  • Govern SAP financial processes and drive their continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, the Shared Services Center, and business teams.
  • Lead transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and new functionality implementations.
  • Evaluate the impacts and opportunities associated with new SAP S/4HANA versions and releases.
  • Advance process standardization, simplification, and automation.
  • Maintain FI integration with MM, SD, CO, AA, TRM, and other modules and processes.
  • Establish the integration strategy connecting SAP with satellite systems.
  • Uphold Clean Core principles across the SAP landscape.
  • Evaluate opportunities involving SAP BTP, Fiori, automation, and AI.
  • Support audits, internal controls, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee technology vendors and partners, maintaining quality and SLA performance.
  • Manage critical incidents and underlying structural issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and create continuous improvement plans.
  • Protect the quality, integrity, and traceability of financial data.
  • Help the business identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and create value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A postgraduate degree or MBA in Technology, Project Management, Finance, Controlling, or a related area is preferred.
  • SAP FI and ABAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
  • Strong SAP FI expertise, ideally gained in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cash Management, and financial closing processes.
  • Understanding of FI integration with CO, MM, SD, AA, PS, and tax modules.
  • Knowledge of accounting, payables, receivables, reconciliations, accounting close, and financial close processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and the S/4HANA user experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations with satellite systems through APIs, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, interfaces, and middleware.
  • SAP BTP, extensibility, and integration knowledge is preferred.
  • Understanding of Clean Core concepts and S/4HANA evolution practices.
  • Knowledge of SAP Notes, OSS, incident management, and problem management.
  • Knowledge of change management, transports, and SAP governance.
  • Experience with SAP DRC, electronic documents, and tax integrations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics or Embedded Analytics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applying AI and automation to financial processes is preferred.
