Description

  • Drive the transformation of Humana’s Site Reliability Engineering organization with AI-powered operations and automation.
  • Work with technology leaders, engineering teams, and partners to advance AIOps strategy, operational efficiency, and enterprise automation.
  • Guide products from completed design through volume production release alongside design engineering and test teams.
  • Test engineering solutions to verify and validate product designs.
  • Help evaluate and qualify leading-edge technology components.
  • Keep production schedules on track and ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Partner with product engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to investigate and resolve customer product issues.
  • Counsel executives on functional strategy and significant business matters.
  • Apply SRE practices and reduce organizational toil through automation.
  • Lead small teams expanding SRE automation and delivering strategic AIOps milestones.
  • Develop and present metrics, dashboards, trend analyses, and updates for executives.
  • Lead cross-functional technology projects and programs that deliver measurable business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years leading projects, technical work, or teams in application, SRE, DevOps, or automation settings.
  • Track record of leading technology initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Practical experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
  • Experience with software testing methods, including unit tests and mocking frameworks.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, including sound decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Experience preparing and presenting metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, and executive updates.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated collaboration across engineering, operations, and business teams to achieve strategic results.
  • Interest in innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and better customer experiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects or programs with measurable business results.
  • An advanced degree such as an MBA, master’s degree, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience leading large-scale, high-visibility technology transformation or automation programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of operations, engineering, process improvement, and organizational change management is preferred.
  • Six Sigma and/or ITIL certification is preferred.
  • Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
  • A dedicated work area without ongoing interruptions is required to protect member PHI and HIPAA information.
