Senior Federal Contracts Manager (Remote)

Lead end-to-end federal contract management for JANSON, supporting military and government solutions. Negotiate agreements, maintain FAR and DFARS compliance, and establish company-wide contracts processes.

Description

  • Own the full lifecycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, purchase orders, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master service agreements, consulting agreements, purchase documents, and other contract records
  • Evaluate solicitations, requests for proposals, representations and certifications, contract terms, conditions, and amendments to identify requirements, exceptions, risks, and approvals
  • Create and recommend pricing approaches for proposal submissions
  • Direct negotiations with prime contractors, subcontractors, vendors, teaming partners, and consultants
  • Act as the central contact for contracting officials, clients, teaming partners, vendors, executives, and legal representatives
  • Interpret and help implement FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, contract clauses, and internal policies
  • Draft compliant subcontract terms and prime-contract flow-downs while supporting source selection, negotiations, consent requirements, and subcontract administration
  • Provide guidance on contract type, funding, performance periods, deliverables, invoicing, allowable costs, intellectual property and data rights, conflicts of interest, and other significant terms
  • Monitor deliverables, funding, options, modifications, notices, reporting duties, government property requirements, and critical dates
  • Assist with proposal planning, compliance checks, pricing coordination, certifications, and submission preparation
  • Coordinate responses to audits, reviews, information requests, and customer questions
  • Keep contract files and records complete, accurate, organized, and ready for audit
  • Track regulatory and contractual changes and advise leadership on appropriate actions
  • Build and implement contracts-management governance, policies, procedures, workflows, and training
  • Handle additional contract, compliance, and business operations responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of progressively responsible contracts administration and management experience across the full lifecycle of U.S. federal procurements and contract administration
  • Practical knowledge of the FAR and DFARS Supplement, including applying contract clauses in daily operations
  • Experience independently reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering prime contracts and subcontracts
  • A current Secret clearance is preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is required for certain programs
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, company, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving ability
  • Capacity to balance competing deadlines and work effectively with limited administrative support
  • Experience creating, implementing, maintaining, and improving procedures and templates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and electronic document, signature, and contract-record systems
  • Experience supporting small businesses that serve the federal government is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Finance, Law, Public Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
