Description

  • Set and guide Factory’s developer relations strategy across content, community, events, partnerships, and social media
  • Represent Factory through LinkedIn, X, conferences, podcasts, livestreams, and developer communities
  • Create tutorials, demonstrations, sample applications, reference implementations, documentation, and case studies
  • Show how Droids enhance software development workflows and help users realize Factory’s value
  • Grow an engaged, self-sustaining developer community
  • Build relationships with notable developers, open-source maintainers, AI companies, research organizations, and technology partners
  • Plan and deliver workshops, meetups, hackathons, launch initiatives, and conference programs
  • Create consistent feedback channels between developers and Factory’s Product and Engineering teams
  • Track AI, developer tooling, and software engineering developments to maintain Factory’s relevance and differentiation
  • Champion developer-focused decisions across the product, documentation, onboarding, and developer experience
  • Set and measure outcomes for developer adoption, engagement, content performance, community health, and product feedback

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in developer relations, developer education, product management, software engineering, or technical leadership
  • Strong technical credibility with the ability to build, demonstrate, and explain modern software development workflows
  • Established standing in developer communities and a history of creating trusted, shareable content
  • Experience developing and expanding developer communities, programs, or ecosystems
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted development, coding agents, developer tools, open source, and emerging engineering practices
  • Ability to turn complex technical capabilities into clear and persuasive narratives
  • Outstanding writing, speaking, on-camera, and public presentation skills
  • Sound product judgment and experience partnering closely with Engineering and Product teams
  • A metrics-oriented approach to developer adoption and community investment
  • Strong initiative and the ability to establish a function in a rapidly changing, loosely structured environment
  • Deep commitment to developer education and helping technical users succeed
