Senior Business Area Controller, Consumer Tissue

Lead performance analysis, planning, reporting, and value-chain controlling for Essity’s Consumer Tissue business. Partner with international Commercial, Supply Chain, and business teams to support decisions and improve financial insight.

Description

  • Analyze business performance for the Business Area Management Team across the full value chain, from sourcing through customer delivery.
  • Work with Commercial and Supply Chain Controllers to develop actionable insights and inform business decisions.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports, forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans for Consumer Tissue.
  • Manage core business-area controlling activities covering strategic and long-term planning, net sales and pricing analysis, value-chain and cost-driver management, working capital, and overheads.
  • Create and implement reporting concepts and tools that strengthen end-to-end controlling.
  • Coordinate controlling activities globally across Consumer Tissue functions and business units.
  • Set guidelines and calendars to support effective cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of controlling experience in an international, multinational business environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in analysis, financial planning, and problem-solving.
  • Clear understanding of business drivers and value creation.
  • Advanced expertise with SAP, financial consolidation systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and reporting tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Confidence influencing and constructively challenging colleagues at every organizational level.
  • Commitment to innovative reporting, continuous improvement, and reliable financial processes.
  • Self-directed, collaborative approach with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain data integrity in a fast-moving environment.
