Sales Development Representative – Tennessee Remote

Drive qualified appointments for RR Donnelley’s marketing, packaging, print, and supply-chain solutions. Build prospect pipelines, engage target accounts, and transition qualified leads to sales executives.

Description

  • Schedule qualified appointments with prospective clients to support sales growth
  • Route leads to sales representatives for qualification and closing
  • Contact prospects through established outbound prospecting methods
  • Create interest in discovery meetings with RR Donnelley Sales Executives
  • Map multiple decision-makers and contact points within target accounts
  • Communicate the value of RR Donnelley products and services
  • Research prospects and business objectives to align them with RR Donnelley services
  • Develop a high-value pipeline through focused, strategic prospecting
  • Partner with sales colleagues to create target prospect lists
  • Manage the prospect pipeline while delivering a strong customer experience
  • Hand off leads to the sales team after the initial discovery meeting
  • Record and manage all lead-generation activity in Salesforce
  • Meet with Sales Leaders to review and assess strategy

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of sales and telemarketing experience, with an emphasis on cold calling
  • Experience or interest in digital marketing services preferred
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding lead-generation targets
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and other sales technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time-management and organizational abilities
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proven knowledge of prospecting and lead-generation methods
  • Experience conducting outreach by email, phone, and social media
  • Strong research skills for finding prospects and understanding business needs
  • Ability to address objections and stay positive through rejection
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and sales approaches
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Availability to work in the CST time zone
