Remote Health Information Management Coordinator

Coordinate medical records and compliance documentation for Graham Healthcare Group’s home health and hospice companies. Support physician communications, audits, record releases, and electronic signatures.

Description

  • Send End of Episode Summaries to physicians promptly.
  • Review Patient Consent and Election of Benefit records for compliance and timely processing.
  • Process medical record documentation in Worldview.
  • Scan and attach medical records to patient charts.
  • Check patient documentation for compliance and billing requirements.
  • Compile and process requests for medical record releases.
  • Respond to LIVANTA and other discharge-related audits on the same business day.
  • Use electronic signature platforms to obtain signatures on required documents, including consents and DNRs.
  • Escalate missing items to operations and clinical staff.
  • Perform clerical work in an office setting using computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
  • Travel by car as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • A detail-focused, process-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license that can be maintained.
  • Automobile insurance coverage that can be maintained.
  • Access to a reliable automobile.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
