Remote Project Coordinator, Claims Administration

Support claims administration, settlement benefits, and case management operations as a Project Coordinator. Track projects, process claims data, and coordinate vendors during a three-month remote assignment.

Description

  • Support organization-wide case management initiatives involving skip tracing, escalated claimant communications, IVR systems, social media, and document retention.
  • Provide direct case management support to Project Management staff.
  • Help implement detailed project plans and track progress.
  • Create and update project records covering status, deadlines, and task ownership.
  • Monitor project milestones and schedules, and communicate status updates.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors supporting project delivery.
  • Help prepare and process case invoices.
  • Review settlement agreements and understand applicable case requirements.
  • Process, deduplicate, normalize, optimize, and analyze large datasets, and prepare reports.
  • Process claims and incoming correspondence accurately and promptly in accordance with settlement agreements.
  • Review claims and supporting records to assess eligibility.
  • Apply adjudication policies and procedures for payment or assignment to appropriate programs.
  • Research and respond to requests for notice packets.
  • Use skip tracing to locate recipients of undeliverable notices and checks.
  • Investigate and resolve claims adjudication issues.
  • Support settlement benefit distributions and post-distribution services.
  • Safeguard confidential information.
  • Deliver customer service to clients and claimants.
  • Maintain regular communication with colleagues and meet with managers to share feedback and support coordination.
  • Follow established business processes, assume new responsibilities, and complete other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • One to two years of project support or associate-level experience in business, accounting, finance, paralegal work, or a related field.
  • At least one to two years of relevant experience with a demonstrated record of achievement.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or legal environments is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and research abilities.
  • Ability to adjust quickly when urgent priorities arise.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from varied ethnic backgrounds and professional disciplines.
  • Skills in diagnosing problems and developing creative solutions.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capacity to analyze and resolve problems at strategic and functional levels.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to talk and hear; use hands and fingers; occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, and lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to assess variables, select effective actions, manage competing tasks and stressful situations, work with different personalities, and prioritize responsibilities.
