Process and requirements analyst role at Barclays focused on business analysis, agile design, process mapping, and solution testing. The position supports banking process change across Chennai and Pune.

Description

  • Analyze business problems and client requirements that call for organizational change
  • Define business requirements to address identified problems and opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders to confirm proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations
  • Contribute to business cases and feasibility assessments
  • Track and report project progress to support delivery on schedule and within budget
  • Design operational procedures and processes within the agreed scope
  • Support change management, including development of traceability matrices
  • Document current-state journeys and requirements for process change
  • Lead agile design sprints and document configuration requirements
  • Check developed solutions against requirements before testing begins
  • Develop test scenarios from relevant use cases
  • Coordinate with Change and Training leads so launch materials reflect business requirements
  • Provide guidance on decisions, help shape policies, and improve operational effectiveness
  • Lead complex work or teams while coaching team members
  • Advise on complex matters and support People Leaders with escalated issues
  • Identify risk-reduction opportunities and create governance policies and procedures
  • Manage risks and reinforce control frameworks
  • Use internal and external data sources to investigate and resolve problems
  • Explain complex information clearly and influence stakeholders toward desired outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, curiosity, and close attention to detail
  • Experience clarifying requirements and framing problem statements
  • Ability to analyze and document existing processes, requirements, current and future states, and design workshop outcomes systematically
  • Experience using process-mapping tools such as Blueworks, Visio, and Microsoft Office
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, agile environment
  • Ability to collaborate across centers of excellence, colleague support, HR technology, and journey experience teams
  • Experience entering requirements in JIRA and maintaining governance and version control
  • Experience creating test scripts for positive and negative scenarios
  • Advanced ability to write detailed specifications in business English
  • Experience working in multinational organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Availability during core hours of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST, with flexibility for important afternoon meetings
