Principal Project Manager - Remote Colorado

Lead enterprise transformation at Pearson VUE by turning executive priorities into measurable delivery plans. Drive governance, change adoption, integrations, and AI tooling across geographies.

Description

  • Own the enterprise transformation roadmap by translating competing leadership priorities into 30-, 60-, and 100-day plans with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
  • Build governance around defined business problems, measured baselines, accountable owners, decision requirements, escalation routes, and operational handoff.
  • Set business-value measures and track results across cost savings, revenue protection, capacity creation, delivery speed, service quality, adoption, and risk reduction.
  • Direct cross-functional initiatives and recovery plans for programmes that are stalled, at risk, or failing to deliver expected results.
  • Develop executive-ready options, tradeoffs, and recommendations, then facilitate working sessions that convert decisions into accountable action.
  • Modernise operating models, working practices, and tools across regions, supported by effective communications and enablement.
  • Support integrations and organisational change across Day 1, 30-day, and 100-day milestones, including governance, process alignment, SOPs, reporting, and handover.
  • Increase adoption of internal AI governance tools while tracking usage, compliance, time savings, exception rates, and practitioner feedback.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience leading enterprise transformation, strategic operations, or change management programmes in a large, geographically distributed organisation.
  • A record of converting unclear executive priorities into sequenced delivery plans with measurable business results.
  • Experience creating governance for cross-functional portfolios and moving initiatives into stable operational ownership.
  • Experience with post-merger integration or comparable Day 1, 30-day, and 100-day organisational change.
  • Strong expertise in business strategy, process improvement, and executive-level stakeholder alignment.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled working practices and their governance is advantageous.
