Post-Harvest Technician I - Trulieve, Quincy, FL

On-site role supporting Trulieve’s cultivation operations by harvesting, weighing, documenting, and preparing cannabis materials. The position emphasizes product quality, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Description

  • Harvest cannabis materials as part of post-harvest production operations.
  • Prepare, weigh, and record materials for transfer to drying rooms.
  • Remove plant foliage as required during processing.
  • Maintain compliance records in the centralized tracking system.
  • Record testing outcomes in reports and operational logs.
  • Enter production information into the company database.
  • Conduct ongoing quality-control checks as materials progress through production.
  • Operate and care for equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Weigh and dispose of plant waste materials.
  • Process and prepare materials and products under SOP and cGMP cleanliness and hygiene requirements.
  • Track all cannabis materials and products according to company policies and procedures.
  • Clean work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and bagging excess plant material.
  • Clean, sanitize, and properly store equipment after use.
  • Follow all company safety policies and regulations.
  • Provide hands-on support across departments when needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and positive workplace.
  • Complete other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cannabis handling, including harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming, is helpful but not required.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and strong workplace discipline.
  • Work hands-on with cannabis plant material each day.
  • Adapt to assignments across different production areas as business needs require.
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates and colleagues in other departments.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a team-oriented approach.
  • Manage time effectively in a production environment.
  • Follow all applicable legal requirements and company regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.
  • Push, pull, move, or lift at least 50 pounds to a minimum height of five feet and carry it at least 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Work seated or standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent or continuous hand movements.
  • Handle organic matter daily and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or higher, while wearing PPE.
  • Have visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal tasks, and inspecting small parts or details in both daylight and dark conditions.
  • Communicate verbally at conversational levels with coworkers and vendors.
