Network Engineer, Field Support (Remote, Philippines)

Provide network engineering support for customer SD-WAN, Meraki, Cradlepoint, LTE/5G, and satellite connectivity deployments. Guide field technicians remotely while supporting enterprise solutions for New Era Technology.

Description

  • Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN environments, including vManage and vEdge/cEdge.
  • Configure and manage Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR platforms.
  • Implement and maintain Cradlepoint routers through NetCloud Manager.
  • Incorporate LTE/5G and satellite links into enterprise network architectures.
  • Deliver live remote assistance to field technicians during installations, cutovers, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct deployment validation, service turn-ups, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate support across multiple customer networks while prioritizing effectively and communicating clearly.
  • Follow customer-defined standards, service-level agreements, and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Bring 4–7+ years of hands-on data networking or network engineering experience supporting large-scale, national, or international deployments.
  • Demonstrate strong practical expertise with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, including vManage, policy control, and routing.
  • Have experience with Microsoft desktop and laptop systems and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Demonstrate substantial experience administering Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR platforms.
  • Have experience working with the Cradlepoint NetCloud ecosystem.
  • Understand OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and core network security principles.
  • Have supported distributed infrastructures and connectivity for remote sites.
  • Be familiar with tools for monitoring and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
  • Apply strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Communicate technical instructions clearly to field technicians and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage competing priorities across several customer environments effectively.
  • Maintain excellent communication and technical documentation.
  • Starlink deployment and satellite connectivity experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and SD-WAN features is advantageous.
  • Experience with multi-carrier cellular deployments and failover design is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA/CMNO, Cradlepoint, Juniper, CompTIA, Apple, Linux, or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
