Field Service Technician II – Memphis, TN Onsite

Join NCR Atleos as a Field Service Technician II supporting ATMs and self-checkout systems across the Memphis area. The role covers installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment.

Description

  • Complete customer installations, maintenance activities, and service calls efficiently and on schedule.
  • Maintain and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, throughout an assigned territory.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and equipment overhauls.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system configuration problems.
  • Address network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity issues.
  • Triage customer issues and resolve potential problems proactively when possible.
  • Provide customers with clear, helpful, and professional communication focused on resolution.
  • Complete NCR Atleos virtual and hands-on training programs.
  • Follow NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, the Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe-driving requirements.
  • Handle other related responsibilities aligned with qualifications and business needs.
  • Work in nearby service territories during standard shifts when operational requirements call for reassignment.
  • Choose to participate in overnight travel assignments supporting broader service coverage.

Requirements

  • Live within the designated geographic service area.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Be at least 19 years old.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record meeting NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
  • Have PC and basic electronics skills, along with familiarity with operating systems.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation.
  • Be able to travel and drive for several hours per day.
  • Be available for rotating and weekend shifts.
  • Be able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Be familiar with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
  • Hold an A+, CompTIA, or Network+ certification.
  • Have one or more years of related experience, preferred.
