Clinical Research Associate, Canada Remote

Monitor respiratory and cardiovascular clinical trials for ICON across the Greater Toronto Area. Support GCP compliance through site oversight, study visits, data integrity, and stakeholder guidance.

Description

  • Manage clinical trial activities in line with study protocols, regulations, and industry standards
  • Lead monitoring activities with an emphasis on quality and ongoing improvement
  • Assess clinical sites for compliance with protocols, regulations, and GCP requirements
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate performance, address issues, and support effective study delivery
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely data collection and reporting
  • Train and advise site staff and fellow Clinical Research Associates
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and other stakeholders
  • Monitor respiratory and cardiovascular studies across the Greater Toronto Area

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare-related field
  • Substantial Clinical Research Associate experience and a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management
  • Proficiency with relevant clinical trial software and tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence others and promote compliance in a complex environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 60%
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based
