Description

  • Build and grow profitable relationships with corporate and individual clients
  • Manage client accounts while identifying financial objectives, challenges, and risk tolerance
  • Review investment portfolios and cash-flow data to uncover trends, improvement opportunities, and relevant services
  • Track industry developments, regulatory conditions, and competitive activity affecting clients
  • Create tailored financial solutions using the bank’s products and services
  • Explain solution value, support recommendations, and negotiate suitable terms
  • Advise clients on financial decisions, investments, risk, wealth management, and market developments
  • Evaluate financial, legal, and operational risks and introduce appropriate controls
  • Maintain accurate records of client discussions, transactions, and agreements
  • Share client insights to inform product development, service improvements, and bank strategy
  • Track client satisfaction, revenue, and relationship-management performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Visit client premises to understand business objectives and borrowing requirements
  • Organise diary commitments and work with colleagues across functions and business divisions
  • Direct complex assignments, coach colleagues where relevant, advise on complex matters, and influence stakeholders
  • Create policies and procedures that reinforce control and governance

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for telephone and face-to-face client interactions
  • Team-oriented approach with the initiative to complete work independently when needed
  • Knowledge of business banking
  • Business development experience in the financial sector
  • Experience in a customer-facing position
  • Ability to drive when visiting clients
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client premises
  • Assessment may cover risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and role-specific technical skills
