Fund Accounting Manager – Private Equity, Bangalore Hybrid

Lead private equity fund accounting across NAVs, capital activity, investor reporting, and fund operations. Manage accounting teams and coordinate with global stakeholders, banks, brokers, and clients for CSC.

Tavsif

  • Partner with Loan Operations to deliver operational objectives.
  • Use complex tools and coordinate with global teams, banks, and brokers to record activities accurately.
  • Record investor commitments and manage initial, subsequent, and late closings.
  • Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches.
  • Prepare capital call and distribution notices, wire instructions, and supporting schedules.
  • Record trading and non-trading transactions and complete the books of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly NAV workbooks and economic allocations.
  • Calculate management fees, preferred returns, and carried interest.
  • Manage investor, fund-level, and ILPA reporting.
  • Work with clients to resolve accounting and operational matters.
  • Supervise direct reports and address operational and personnel issues promptly.
  • Maintain operational controls and develop solutions when failures occur.
  • Develop team members’ skills and capabilities.

Talablar

  • Understanding of private equity and debt fund structures, designs, and hierarchies.
  • Understanding of special purpose vehicles, standalone funds, master-feeder funds, and each entity’s role within fund structures.
  • Understanding of investor classes, GP and carry classes, and affiliated and non-affiliated classes.
  • Experience recording investor commitments and accounting for initial, subsequent, and late closings.
  • Knowledge of capital activity processing, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches.
  • Ability to prepare capital call and distribution notices, wire instructions, and related schedules.
  • Knowledge of master-feeder capital transactions.
  • Experience recording trading and non-trading transactions and completing books of accounts.
  • Ability to prepare monthly and quarterly NAV workbooks and economic allocations.
  • Knowledge of P&L rebalancing and European and American waterfall methods.
  • Knowledge of management fee, preferred return, and carried interest calculations.
  • Knowledge of internal rate of return, time-weighted return, and investment multiple ratios.
  • Knowledge of investor, fund-level, and ILPA reporting; ILPA reporting is optional.
  • Knowledge of operations and accounting for bank debt, TRS, MBS, and CLO instruments.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with global teams, banks, and brokers.
  • Capability to manage people and supervise teams.
  • Ability to identify operational failures and develop solutions.
