Agility Robotics
Agility Robotics

Senior Reliability Engineer – Humanoid Robotics, Fremont Hybrid

Lead reliability validation for Agility Robotics’ humanoid drive systems and robotic actuation hardware. Own testing, failure analysis, accelerated-life modeling, and reliability improvements across the product lifecycle.

  • Own reliability engineering for integrated humanoid drive systems and robotic actuation assemblies
  • Collaborate with mechatronics, controls, embedded software, and manufacturing teams
  • Apply Design for Reliability practices to complex mechatronic systems
  • Define reliability targets, duty-cycle profiles, and environmental and mechanical stress criteria
  • Assess how control algorithms, dynamic braking, overload torque, and thermal throttling affect reliability
  • Design, build, and run multi-axis accelerated stress-testing systems
  • Perform HALT, HASS, dynamic load cycling, thermal shock, vibration, and ingress-protection validation
  • Create test rigs that reproduce real-world humanoid duty cycles
  • Use statistical reliability methods and multiphysics degradation models to forecast drive-system life
  • Lead cross-functional root-cause investigations into complex mechatronic failures
  • Convert field telemetry, torque and temperature logs, and test-bench failure data into design improvements
