Field Service Technician, Network Solutions

Maintain network connectivity and site infrastructure for CBIZ at Edward Jones locations across the Watertown territory. Travel to branch locations and support services from a hybrid, primarily field-based role.

Descriere

  • Support Edward Jones branch offices, vendor sites, and home financial advisor locations across the assigned territory
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain primary and backup branch connectivity and site infrastructure
  • Maintain network hardware, computers, telephones, printers, and cabling
  • Coordinate maintenance, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks, and other projects
  • Meet SLAs, rollout schedules, and deadlines
  • Train clients on newly implemented systems
  • Complete maintenance, project, and IMAC service calls independently and on time
  • Provide backup coverage for neighboring service areas
  • Manage tickets through resolution in accordance with SLAs
  • Set ETA commitments and arrive safely and on time
  • Record dates, times, resolution codes, hardware usage, and other details in tickets
  • Process asset transactions, package equipment, and update shipping logs
  • Provide technical support while minimizing disruption to client operations
  • Maintain an inventory of required parts and tools
  • Use documentation and tools to perform on-site and remote repairs
  • Schedule and arrange maintenance for company vehicles
  • Drive a company vehicle for work assignments
  • Provide customer service and contribute to additional projects
  • Carry and respond to a company-issued cellphone for on-call support as required
  • Travel regularly, up to three hours each way, to Edward Jones branches in the Watertown, South Dakota territory

Cerințe

  • Associate degree from an accredited college, technical school, or university; two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling two years
  • Live within the assigned territory to meet operational requirements
  • Have reliable high-speed internet access for work-related tasks
  • Be able to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade voice, data, and AV hardware, including network equipment, desktop terminals, monitors, printers, telephony devices, and cabling
  • Be able to read and review information on computer monitors for extended periods
  • Be physically able to walk, sit, stand, bend, squat, crawl, climb, twist, kneel, reach, grip objects, and lift and transport equipment, including in confined spaces
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Have excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Be able to operate a company vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for equipment repairs
