Business Analyst - Canada Remote

Descriere

  • Conduct client interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to clarify business needs, processes, exceptions, and desired outcomes
  • Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Assess gaps, constraints, dependencies, and conflicting requirements while helping shape workable solutions
  • Keep requirements, meeting records, decision logs, and related project documentation current
  • Design UAT scenarios and guide clients through testing and validation
  • Showcase product capabilities and align them with documented business requirements
  • Prepare client training materials and deliver training sessions
  • Act as the ongoing client contact for requirements, testing, process decisions, and training
  • Work with the Project Manager to support the wider client relationship
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Development, QA, and Product teams
  • Help deliver implementation milestones from discovery through go-live
  • Create reusable internal resources such as process guides, configuration notes, and knowledge-base content
  • Investigate relevant direct-selling practices to inform recommendations and client solutions
  • Apply security and data-handling procedures aligned with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements

Cerințe

  • Bring 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar, ideally in software implementation or SaaS environments
  • Communicate clearly in writing and conversation, including when explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Have experience producing functional requirements, user stories, process flows, or comparable documentation
  • Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented working practices
  • Manage competing priorities and adjust to changing timelines in a fast-moving environment
  • Work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Have familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project and collaboration tools
  • Have familiarity with AI-assisted tools for requirements documentation, research, and workflow efficiency
  • Possess general knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferred
  • Bring direct-selling or MLM industry experience, preferred
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, preferred; equivalent professional experience is considered
  • Follow security and data-handling procedures aligned with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements
