Senior Associate, Accounts Receivable — Remote, United States
Lead collections and EDI invoice resolution for Newell Brands’ strategic North American customers. Supervise an offshore team while improving payment performance and cash flow.

- Oversee the offshore Genpact Collections team and ensure accurate, timely work
- Manage collections for strategic North American customers, including Amazon, Walmart, and Target
- Investigate the root causes of payment delays and coordinate timely resolutions
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in payment terms
- Track Average Days Delinquent, analyze payment trends, and implement improvements to payment performance
- Maintain effective relationships with customers, Sales, and Business Unit partners
- Escalate and resolve collection matters with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports and recommend actions related to significant balances, risks, operational issues, and collection results
- Administer EDI invoice rejections by researching, correcting, retriggering, and resolving rejected invoices
- Assist with accounts receivable system implementations and upgrades
- Handle collection escalations from customers and internal teams
- Administer customer portals
- Maintain compliance with company policies, internal and external controls, and audit requirements
- Improve processes, strengthen cash flow, and reduce overdue receivables
Prasības
- Demonstrated leadership and team-management capability
- Strong practical knowledge and experience in EDI and collections
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Power BI, OnBase, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Solid experience with accounts receivable operations
- Experience working with Genpact or another third-party BPO
- Strong work ethic and a consistent record of delivering against project plans and tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to solve problems and support sound decisions
- Strong analytical and customer service capabilities
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Commitment to meeting defined service-level agreements
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
- At least five years of experience in a fast-paced business accounts receivable environment and/or a bachelor's degree, preferred
