Senior Enterprise Architect, SAP S/4HANA
Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation architecture for retail, hard goods, and fashion clients, guiding enterprise design, governance, and delivery. Oversee architecture pursuits and programs while developing teams and reusable practice assets.

- Translate business strategy into target architectures and multi-year roadmaps with executive stakeholders.
- Set S/4HANA deployment plans, rollout order, legacy coexistence, and decommissioning.
- Prepare business cases and architecture options to support executive decisions.
- Evaluate architecture maturity, application portfolios, and technical debt.
- Establish and chair architecture governance across programs.
- Set and uphold architecture principles, non-functional requirements, integration, and extensibility standards.
- Maintain architecture decisions and risk registers, and resolve design conflicts across workstreams.
- Provide assurance at SAP Activate quality gates and lead architecture reviews and program health checks.
- Design retail landscapes connecting S/4HANA, CAR, GK OmniPOS, store systems, commerce, order management, MDG, warehousing, and transportation management.
- Define enterprise integration and middleware strategy, including interface governance and API lifecycle management.
- Set data architecture and strategies for master data governance, analytics, planning, and migration.
- Shape security, identity, compliance, and cross-border data architecture.
- Assess and introduce technologies such as SAP Business AI, Joule, intelligent automation, and edge or in-store computing.
- Act as senior architecture executive across concurrent engagements from Discover through Run and hypercare.
- Guide Solution Architects and technical leads.
- Identify and reduce delivery risks driven by architecture.
- Lead architecture work for pursuits, including solution design, estimates, proposals, oral presentations, and executive briefings.
- Create reference architectures, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Work with leadership on practice direction, offerings, and SAP ecosystem relationships.
- Represent EverBlue through publications, conference talks, SAP community contributions, and industry forums.
- Lead, coach, and develop the architect community.
- Set architecture career paths, competencies, and certification expectations.
- Support hiring, staffing, and performance reviews for architecture roles.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; relevant work experience is required.
- Authorized to work in the United States and/or Canada without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- At least 20 years of functional or technical SAP experience, including 8 or more years in architecture roles.
- Extensive consumer industries knowledge, including retail, hard goods, fashion, consumer products, and wholesale distribution.
- At least three complete S/4HANA implementation lifecycles as lead architect.
- At least one implementation as overall program or enterprise architect for a multi-country, multi-brand, or multi-channel rollout.
- Hands-on experience with both GROW public cloud and RISE private cloud deployment models.
- Experience applying SAP’s clean core approach.
- Demonstrated success establishing and leading architecture governance across concurrent programs or a client enterprise.
- Experience advising client executives at CIO or CTO level.
- A record of leading or materially contributing to successful pursuits.
- Active thought leadership supported by verifiable publications and/or speaking engagements.
- Preferred: TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
- Preferred: SAP certification in S/4HANA, BTP, or enterprise architecture.
- Preferred: experience with SAP Signavio and LeanIX.
- Enterprise architecture expertise and a record of delivering multi-year SAP transformation programs.
- Broad knowledge of SAP’s retail and consumer portfolio and its integration with non-SAP enterprise, store, and commerce platforms.
- Expertise in cloud deployment, clean core extensibility, integration patterns, and enterprise data architecture.
- Ability to link architecture decisions to business outcomes, total cost of ownership, and risk.
