VP, Health Services Analytics — GuideWell Source (Remote, Florida)

GuideWell Source seeks a Vice President to lead Health Services Analytics strategy, AI modernization, cloud migration, and enterprise performance measurement. The role focuses on improving member outcomes, affordability, and experience through analytics-driven operating models and technology.

Description

  • Make analytics the foundation of a data-driven Health Services Operating System
  • Deploy a unified KPI and operating performance dashboard
  • Identify automation and AI opportunities across analytics functions
  • Improve Health Services Operations processes to advance member outcomes and reduce administrative and medical costs
  • Convert data, advanced analytics, and AI insights into measurable business results
  • Drive adoption of the Analytics Domain architecture across Health Services Analytics
  • Lead the transition from legacy platforms to modern cloud solutions
  • Set the Health Services Analytics North Star and phased delivery strategy
  • Create and govern the analytics operating model, intake and prioritization processes, data product strategy, governance, enterprise metrics, transformation layer, and AI enablement roadmap
  • Deliver the analytics product roadmap and measure realized value
  • Participate in governance forums supporting operational engines
  • Maintain a structured management system covering team meetings, one-on-ones, skip-level discussions, roadmap updates, and operating cadences
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive KPI inventory for Health Services Operations
  • Deliver the unified KPI and operating performance dashboard as the authoritative source of truth
  • Own a standardized transformation layer covering metric definitions, data pipelines, business logic, enrichment, and quality controls
  • Redirect analytics work toward predictive modeling, AI-enabled workflows, advanced analytics, and proactive intelligence
  • Create and carry out the AI enablement roadmap
  • Launch automated reporting, self-service dashboards, and decision-support tools
  • Lead predictive modeling and AI/ML use-case development
  • Own TCOC connectivity analytics and measure, monitor, and validate affordability opportunities
  • Support subfunction lever playbooks with definitions for KPIs, cost categories, cost mechanisms, and analytics cadences
  • Build, lead, and grow the Health Services Analytics team
  • Set the staffing model, workforce composition, onshore/offshore/vendor mix, and productivity standards
  • Strengthen, reorganize, and rebuild the analytics talent pyramid
  • Create leadership development plans, talent assessments, and performance management processes
  • Report to the COO of Health Services and collaborate with the Chief Data Officer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, business, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent additional relevant work experience
  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial science, data science, or enterprise analytics leadership
  • At least 8 years of senior leadership experience managing analytical teams and enterprise-scale programs
  • Proven success designing and implementing analytics operating models
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders across functions
  • Ability to turn analytical findings into measurable business outcomes
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or an equivalent advanced credential preferred
  • Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative or business field preferred
  • Experience working within a health insurance payer organization preferred
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise data organizations preferred
  • Experience applying process improvement methods such as LEAN or Six Sigma preferred
  • Experience creating recruiting strategies, talent programs, and employee development initiatives preferred
  • Experience integrating AI-enabled analytics solutions into business workflows preferred
