TIAA Portfolio Analyst, Glendale (Hybrid)

Support client investment portfolios at TIAA by analyzing markets, coordinating trades, reporting performance, and discussing investment strategies with clients.

Description

  • Prepare trust portfolio reports for clients and management.
  • Present portfolio performance and investment strategies at client review meetings.
  • Help Portfolio Managers execute and verify stock, bond, and mutual fund trades.
  • Track portfolio assets and compliance with client investment policy statements.
  • Discuss portfolio positioning, performance, and investment strategies with clients.
  • Assess market, industry, and risk trends to inform portfolio adjustment recommendations.
  • Present investment recommendations to clients with Portfolio Managers.
  • Track portfolio rebalancing and help resolve client service issues.
  • Collect key client information with TCSG to support service resolution.
  • Submit client service requests through Salesforce CRM and coordinate among TCSG, clients, and Portfolio Management.
  • Maintain wealth management databases and client records.
  • Perform research and loss forecasting as needed.
  • Stay informed about capital markets and the investment management industry.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in financial services.
  • FINRA Series 65 is preferred; candidates without the license may obtain it within 90 days.
  • Beginner to intermediate investment knowledge.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong relationship management skills and client-facing experience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize large volumes of information while managing multiple priorities.
  • Obtain all required licenses within 30 days of the start date.
