Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Remote, Michigan)

Coordinate compliant pre-boarding for external candidates and internal transfers at Trinity Health. Manage hiring documentation, clearance tracking, system updates, and candidate communication through the start date.

Description

  • Support pre-boarding for external candidates and internal transfers.
  • Prioritize compliance, a positive candidate experience, and on-time starts.
  • Explain offer-to-start expectations, timelines, and procedures to candidates.
  • Gather required pre-hire documents, including background, employment, education, I-9, license and certification, and fingerprinting records as needed.
  • Advance candidates to hire in the Applicant Tracking System and keep employee profiles accurate.
  • Complete and securely maintain personnel files for regulatory audits.
  • Share clearance updates with Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about roles, required skills, competencies, and organizational culture.
  • Build effective working relationships with Partners and Talent Acquisition.
  • Coordinate operational, technical, and clerical support activities.
  • Organize workflows and prioritize customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and related records.
  • Use multiple applications to manage data for compliance, auditing, and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate goals, standards, program expectations, service performance, and Trinity Health objectives.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate organizational, operational, and team conflicts.
  • Maintain a safe, functional, and organized workspace.
  • Encourage team members' professional development and pursue ongoing role-based growth.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in talent acquisition, administration, or customer service support in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks, understand complex concepts, manage multiple long-term responsibilities, and handle concurrent tasks or projects.
  • Knowledge of recruiting practices and processes.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, along with Trinity Health's Integrity & Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
