Sales Support - CDW, Peterborough (Hybrid)

Support customer accounts, quotations, orders, reporting, and product information for CDW in a hybrid Peterborough role. Work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support sales activity and service delivery.

Description

  • Maintain customer accounts for the Account Director and provide ongoing account support
  • Manage customer interactions to support sales capacity and satisfaction
  • Coordinate with CDW teams, vendors, suppliers, and customers
  • Create quotations for standard and non-standard products
  • Enter and process orders through sales systems
  • Manage shared and customer-specific Outlook mailboxes
  • Respond to initial customer questions and issues
  • Process returned products
  • Supply product details, manufacturer datasheets, and specification checks
  • Prepare back-order reports and other customer reporting as needed
  • Maintain product and pricing data in ServiceTrack catalogues
  • Work with key vendors and partners to identify opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships
  • Coordinate with Customer Services, Credit, and Purchasing teams
  • Build and maintain knowledge of products in the assigned portfolio
  • Apply knowledge of vendor promotions, special bids, and deal registration procedures
  • Provide holiday cover and support coworker training

Requirements

  • Comfortable using PCs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and web browsers
  • Fast, accurate keyboarding ability
  • Able to create and use formulas
  • Understands the importance of accurate reporting
  • Familiarity with the IT industry sales channel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision and CRM systems
  • Commercial-sector experience is preferred
  • Previous administration experience in a comparable position is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry products and services is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to build effective relationships with customers, partners, and internal coworkers
  • Strong time management and task-prioritisation skills
  • Able to adapt as priorities and tasks change
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Business awareness with the ability to quickly understand numbers and financial information
  • Commercially focused approach
