Sales Representative, Supply Chain Solutions – Massachusetts Hybrid

Manage customer accounts, supply-chain solutions, pricing, and quote-to-order activity for Arrow Electronics. Support margin growth, market share, customer service, and supplier partnerships in a hybrid Massachusetts role.

Description

  • Deliver strategic service and support to assigned customer accounts
  • Increase margins, market share, and value through solution-based selling
  • Support customer service, quoting, demand fulfillment, on-time delivery, engineering assistance, and issue resolution
  • Connect suppliers and customers to develop lasting business partnerships for Arrow
  • Create and manage strategy for the assigned account territory
  • Pursue opportunities through synergistic products, Reverse Logistics, GBC, and ITAD
  • Advance Solutions Selling within the approved account strategy
  • Provide continued sales support throughout the Order to Invoice process
  • Manage customer communication for corrective actions and Field Quality Reports
  • Protect Perfect Order Index performance and inventory accuracy to limit write-offs and bill-backs
  • Coordinate credit, financial data, resources, and support functions
  • Own Quote to Order sales targets and define quote-process strategy
  • Coordinate customer quotes across Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG
  • Confirm EOL and item class changes, negotiate pricing and quote markups, and communicate price increases to customers

Requirements

  • Apply extensive knowledge and experience to resolve complex problems with established solutions
  • Work independently with limited guidance
  • Serve as a resource for less-experienced colleagues
  • Contribute to improvements in business processes
  • Offer informal guidance to junior team members
  • Typically bring 5–7 years of related experience and a four-year degree, or 3 years with an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of supply-chain engagements including e-Compass, Consignments, and CARES
  • Understand the competitive landscape and use market information to guide sales decisions
  • Travel to an Arrow office when requested by Arrow leadership
  • Be authorized to work in the United States, specifically Massachusetts for remote employees
