Sales Operations Manager, Sales Strategy

Lead sales operations and revenue strategy initiatives for Wolters Kluwer’s compliance and information-services businesses. This hybrid role supports teams in Minneapolis, Columbus, New York City, Dallas, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

Description

  • Lead and improve comprehensive revenue operations projects for the business unit
  • Manage business planning, pipeline oversight, and Salesforce forecasting
  • Support annual planning through capacity modeling, territory and account assignments, and quota allocation
  • Design, model, and optimize sales compensation plans and SPIFs
  • Evaluate sales performance metrics, including bookings, retention, pipeline, productivity, and attainment
  • Implement sales process methodologies and improve operational efficiency
  • Guide sales tool and system usage and assess sales technologies, AI, and automation opportunities
  • Oversee data integrity programs and adherence to sales policies
  • Partner with senior leadership to execute sales strategy and prepare QBR and business review materials
  • Support cross-sell and service-to-sales initiatives that strengthen FCC revenue operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • At least five years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Strategy, Finance, or a related analytical discipline
  • Experience delivering advanced sales analysis and business intelligence to sales leaders
  • Experience leading structured pipeline management and forecasting processes using leading and lagging indicators
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior sales leadership
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with senior cross-functional stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments
  • Ability to create automated, database-driven workflows and reduce reliance on spreadsheets
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Power BI
  • Experience using sales analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of sales tools, systems, and technologies
  • Understanding of data integrity and compliance requirements
  • Preferred experience in B2B information services, software, or financial, legal, or regulatory compliance markets
