Sales Consultant, Elevator Modernization – Vaud, Switzerland

KONE is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow elevator modernization business across the canton of Vaud. The role combines technical solution sales, customer development, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.

Description

  • Guide customers through elevator modernization and replacement options
  • Build customer relationships proactively and recommend KONE solutions suited to their needs
  • Increase KONE’s market share across the assigned territory
  • Inspect existing installations planned for replacement or modernization
  • Coordinate technical details with customers and the engineering department
  • Prepare quotations and manage tender responses
  • Set prices through approved tendering tools while optimizing discounts within delegated authority
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with KONE’s commercial policy
  • Meet sales, pricing, and discount objectives
  • Keep CRM records accurate, including opportunities, tasks, and visits
  • Transfer projects to the Project Manager according to internal procedures
  • Promote customer satisfaction and address complaints with the KONE team
  • Monitor relevant market and competitor developments
  • Build a professional network through active engagement on professional social media

Requirements

  • Commercial or technical basic training or education
  • At least five years of successful experience selling technical solutions, preferably in elevator sales or construction and real estate
  • A broad professional network in French-speaking Switzerland
  • Strong negotiation ability and a high level of responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and work effectively under pressure
  • Polished personal presentation and an entrepreneurial approach
  • Native-level French
  • English and/or German proficiency is advantageous
  • Good command of IT tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Good command of digital tools and online networking platforms
  • A valid driving licence
  • Residence in the canton of Vaud
  • Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or a valid work permit
