Tax Attorney - Mexico City (Hybrid)
Advise Charger Logistics on tax regulation, compliance, public affairs, and legislative matters supporting its Mexico City transport operations. Contribute to policy development, regulatory monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
Description
- Provide guidance on regulatory issues related to product and policy changes
- Assist with preparing policy briefs, reports, and presentations
- Coordinate the preparation and organization of stakeholder forums and events
- Help protect the organization's interests in legislative, regulatory, and market-rule proceedings
- Maintain regulatory databases and monitor legislative and compliance developments
- Represent the organization at designated external business meetings
- Create and maintain policies and programs addressing government legislation and regulatory matters
- Resolve moderately complex issues independently, seeking guidance on more complex matters
- Advise management on regulatory and compliance matters to support legal compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law
- Current license to practice law
- Experience in the transport and logistics industry is an asset
- At least five years of experience in public affairs, including SAT or tax-related work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly analytical, with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent management and negotiation abilities
