Description

  • Build and support HP’s enterprise integration solutions.
  • Lead initiatives for the company’s generative AI platform.
  • Support platform services and document how applications use generative AI.
  • Direct the platform engineering team’s daily operations and support work.
  • Maintain platform infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
  • Create and execute operational strategies to improve processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner across teams to resolve operational issues and support business goals.
  • Track performance metrics and take corrective action to meet SLAs and performance targets.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance reviews for the operations and support team.
  • Partner with engineering teams to select and deliver cloud solutions.
  • Set and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Advise and mentor development teams on cloud capabilities.
  • Meet application performance, availability, and scaling needs.
  • Manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines.
  • Use DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with GitHub for source control.
  • Experience with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions for continuous integration.
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, and the Elastic Stack for observability.
  • Programming experience in at least one language.
  • Ability to work across multiple clouds, especially AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and access management.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and cost optimization.
  • Experience designing highly available distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with microservices and messaging based architectures.
  • Experience in operations management, technical support, or a similar role, preferably at a large enterprise.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management methods and tools.
  • Familiarity with platform engineering, cloud technologies, and Agile methods.
