Description

  • Provide professional phone support for questions about claims and coverage
  • Authorize claims and respond to a high volume of incoming calls
  • Complete claim paperwork according to established procedures
  • Review and decide assigned claims
  • Receive reports of new losses
  • Assess coverage under contracts, agreements, and policies
  • Document and investigate new losses accurately
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service
  • Communicate with customers in English and Spanish
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in automotive service as a technician or service advisor
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to identify and clear obstacles to keep work moving efficiently
  • Proficiency with computers and applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work across multiple systems in a fast-paced setting
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • High school diploma required
  • Analytical skills required
  • Ability to make decisions based on contract language
  • Sound judgment in determining applicable contract benefits for claims
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus a rotating Saturday every four to six weeks
