Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist I - Colorado

Support collections, account reconciliation, and customer and branch requests as a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist I with Patterson Companies. The role combines phone communication, analytical research, and cross-functional collaboration.

Description

  • Conduct daily collection calls and issue written collection notices
  • Keep comprehensive records of collection activity
  • Research and reconcile customer requests to support customers and branches
  • Work with OTC Cash Processors to investigate and resolve statement discrepancies
  • Collect overdue accounts while upholding a positive customer service experience
  • Partner with Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Equipment Coordinators
  • Build strong relationships with branches and Patterson teams while sharing accomplishments
  • Participate in and recommend ongoing process improvements
  • Complete responsibilities accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver analytical assistance to the Accounts Receivable Manager and Shared Services Director
  • Report to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to contribute constructively to the Accounts Receivable and Shared Services teams
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Commitment to Patterson’s values and professional conduct
  • Willingness to travel minimally and provide occasional team on-call coverage
  • Availability to work eight hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Strong telephone communication skills are preferred
