Recruiter I (Remote - United States)

Lead full-cycle recruitment for contractor roles supporting Ryder’s logistics operations across assigned accounts. Source and onboard talent, partner with hiring teams, and monitor recruiting performance and market conditions.

Description

  • Identify, screen, and interview candidates for contractor positions
  • Manage offer negotiations through acceptance
  • Handle administrative steps associated with contractor hiring
  • Coordinate onboarding for newly hired contractors
  • Follow established internal and external recruiting procedures
  • Maintain complete staffing coverage for assigned accounts
  • Build effective working relationships with senior operations leaders, hiring managers, Human Resources, and recruiting colleagues
  • Share recruiting updates and report market conditions that may affect contractor hiring
  • Implement recruiting plans through advertising, job fairs, remote sourcing methods, and updated recruitment materials
  • Report recruitment progress, challenges, and issues to management
  • Support customer satisfaction goals by fully recruiting assigned accounts
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while adapting to changing conditions and responsibilities
  • Strong customer service capabilities
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel between 0% and 10%
  • Employment and education verification, motor vehicle record review, road testing, customer badging, and/or background screening may be required
