Description

  • Oversee payroll processing for employees across Illinois, California, and New York.
  • Apply payroll procedures, tax requirements, and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Complete payroll tax filings and year-end reports, including W-2, W-3, 941, and 940 forms.
  • Maintain payroll records using payroll platforms and Microsoft Excel.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve related issues.
  • Protect sensitive payroll and employee information.
  • Coordinate independently and with colleagues to meet payroll deadlines.

Requirements

  • At least three years of payroll administration experience, including multi-state payroll and California and New York employment laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, or Paycom, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax requirements, especially California and New York payroll and employment regulations.
  • Background in payroll tax filings and year-end reporting, including W-2, W-3, 941, and 940 forms.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling large data sets.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills for handling employee questions and resolving issues.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
