Description
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Manage data ingestion, transformation, and delivery in GCP environments
- Develop Databricks solutions with Spark and PySpark
- Design and improve Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures
- Connect APIs, databases, streaming platforms, and other data sources
- Maintain data quality, governance, and platform reliability
- Track performance and reduce cloud infrastructure costs
- Partner with BI, Analytics, and Data Science teams
Requirements
- At least four years of professional Data Engineering experience
- Practical experience with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or Dataflow
- Experience using Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling
- Experience orchestrating pipelines with Airflow or comparable tools
- Working knowledge of Git and version control practices
- Experience working with Delta Lake
- Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience using Docker
- Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub
- GCP or Databricks certification
- Experience designing Lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with BI platforms including Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
- Understanding of data governance and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
