Marketing Operations Manager — Remote, United States

Lead marketing operations for Deque’s web accessibility software and services business, with ownership of HubSpot campaigns, data quality, attribution, and reporting. Partner with marketing and sales teams to improve campaign execution, lifecycle management, and pipeline visibility.

Description

  • Own HubSpot Marketing Hub administration, including users, permissions, properties, integrations, and platform maintenance.
  • Create, test, quality-check, and launch email campaigns, nurture workflows, landing pages, forms, calls to action, and lists.
  • Review campaigns for link accuracy, personalization, rendering, mobile usability, and accessibility.
  • Coordinate the campaign calendar and keep launches on schedule.
  • Maintain consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and campaign taxonomy.
  • Manage lifecycle stages, lead scoring, Signals, and marketing-qualified lead definitions.
  • Coordinate sales handoffs, service-level agreements, and follow-up tracking.
  • Maintain HubSpot and Salesforce synchronization while resolving field-mapping issues and data conflicts.
  • Improve database quality through deduplication, enrichment, segmentation, bounce handling, and management of unengaged contacts.
  • Oversee subscription preferences, suppression lists, deliverability, sender reputation, authentication, and inbox placement.
  • Create and maintain dashboards covering campaign results, funnel conversion, and pipeline contribution.
  • Set and enforce UTM standards and campaign-tracking practices.
  • Provide performance reporting to marketing and sales leaders and investigate anomalies in the data.
  • Administer and connect webinar, enrichment, event-registration, advertising, and sales-engagement platforms.
  • Support registration, lead capture, and follow-up for Deque events, including axe-con.
  • Assess marketing technology, document the martech stack, and retire duplicate tools.
  • Document repeatable processes for campaign execution.
  • Ensure marketing emails, forms, and landing pages meet WCAG standards.
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and related contact-data requirements.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in marketing operations, demand generation operations, or a closely related field.
  • Extensive hands-on HubSpot experience, including daily administration of a Marketing Hub instance.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing-to-sales data flows.
  • Proven ownership of lead lifecycle design, scoring frameworks, and routing logic.
  • Strong analytical ability and advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Able to build reports and explain data insights to non-specialist audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly during quality assurance.
  • Clear writing, communication, and process-documentation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns concurrently and prioritize work independently.
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows and automation capabilities.
  • Preferred: HubSpot certifications in Marketing Hub, Marketing Software, or Reporting.
  • Preferred: B2B SaaS experience, especially with technical or developer-focused audiences.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG, ADA, or Section 508, or a genuine interest in learning these standards.
  • Preferred: Experience with SQL, business intelligence tools, or marketing attribution modeling.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting account-based marketing or a sales-led enterprise motion.
